At this years Midwest Gaming Classic some guests bought shirts, vintage games for their home systems or maybe even some parts to fix up their home machine, and souvenirs. We bought a Kangaroo. As a gold sponsor of this year's MGC, we proudly showed off many classic arcade machines in our booth for guests to see and play. Leave it to us, we ended up leaving with one more game than we arrived with. LOL An Atari Kangaroo machine was across from our booth. The game wasn't ours, but throughout the weekend I found myself adjusting it's joystick switches and it's volume. As this is one of my family's favorite games, I took an interest in it and bought it at the end of the show.
A mother kangaroo must climb through the treetops trying to rescue her son while punching out pink monkeys that throw apples at her. The kangaroo may eat fruit along the way to receive points. There are two ways of playing this game, one would be to just push through to get to the top and the second would be to get all the fruit you can even after ringing the bell. This game is kind of a closet classic, but seems to be loved by many.
