I can honestly say that I have lived in the dekalb area for most of my life and have driven by your arcade over 5,000 times and never went in until tonight. I brought my wife and ten year old daughter in with me and for $15 we had one of the best times we have had in a long time. love all of the vintage videogames and pinball games and the amount of tokens you get for the cost is awesome. And it is cool to go to an arcade where a lot of the games only take ONE TOKEN. not like all the modern day arcades where you spend two dollars to play a game for maybe two minutes and then have to load in another two dollars to continue playing.

Very much worth the time to drive out here if you are not from the area. I will definitely be taking my kids back there again sometime. Hope that you stay open for another 30 years or more.

Great place to hang out and play the classics. Every time I am in I need to spend a minute to walk around to see what new games you have. (It is great seeing new games every time I visit, but I sure wish that Moon Patrol lasted longer. I can't believe that more customers did not play it!) It is nice to see games from 30+ years ago still working on one token.

Was at star world a few days ago with Kelly Tharp. It was a long drive but was worth it to step back into the 80's for a while. The owners are very nice and knowledgable about the old games. I believe they have the same love for the old games as Kelly and me. We've been putting quarters and to liens in them for over 30 years.

Star Worlds is a GREAT retro arcade that takes me back to my youth. With a great selection of games and an AWESOME 80's atmosphere, it's always a wonderful time in there! The cherry on top is the mind-blowing selection of 80's music you can jam out to while gaming!! It's VERY inexpensive and worth every mile I drive to get there from Chicago!! Pat and Glen are two of the coolest and most KNOWLEDGABLE guys I've ever talked to and it's a pleasure to see them when I walk through the door! I found 1 here in Casper,WY called The Game Doctor they all everything you always wanted. The old Nintendo, game boy, game boy advance and etc. I sometimes go to GameStop for games for my PS2 but I am now starting to go to The Game Doctor here where I am living now here in Casper,Wyoming. I loved those games back in the day. Hope we keep these games alive. Tetris was my other #1 favorite game to play. Well good luck if you want to look into the place I said in my comment its called.....The Game Doctor here in Casper,Wyoming 82601. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

I stopped in here a few weeks back with my brother who lives close by, we had a great time. Just wish we'd have gotten there a bit earlier, we didn't arrive until around 9:30PM on a Friday night, so we only had an hour and a half to play games. Too bad, it was great fun.

The owner Pat is a really nice fellow, didn't get to talk with him as much as I'd hoped, but time was limited.....Anyhow, it's great little place with some good games. Can't beat the prices either, I think it was like 30 tokens for $5 ...what a deal.

If you an old school gamer I recommend taking a trip to Dekalb for a couple hours, well worth the trip.

Lookin forward to seeing what they have next time I go. Thanks for keeping a little slice of the old school arcade goin' Pat!

Just wanted to say how much I appreciate what you do for not only the gaming community but also the DeKalb community.

I love your selection, the maintenance of your machines, and the classic prices. Couple that with the fact you give youth (and not so youth) a novel experience outside of staring at the television screen by themselves, so they may experience what gaming used to be all about, and you should practically be eligible for grant money.

Thank you for keeping gaming history alive.

Favorite SWA Game: Karate Champ

Wow. Like walking into a time machine to 20 years ago. So many games I haven't seen in ages. Pinbot! For one token! This takes me back to my misspent youth, begging my mother to drop me off at the arcade with an hour to kill and $5 in my pocket.

I haven't dropped a token into a machine in ages. I'm so pleased I still can.

One night Robb and I stumbled into the arcade. I never even knew it was there, and I thought their selection of games was amazing and completely nostalgia-invoking. Thanks to the friendly employees and cheap token prices, I'll be coming back for years.

Favorite SWA Game: Ms. Pac Man

I stumbled across the Arcade of classics from a Northern Star article and decided to take a visit. I was completely amazed at the great collection of vintage games that were available to play with many more in preparation to hit the floor. I've never been an arcade fan, but the nostalgia of Star World drew me in. I love my Game Cube and Play Station, but there is nothing like a classic joy-stick action game of Ms. Pac Man!! Way to go! I'm hooked!

Take one step into the Vintage Vault and you will be instantly time warped 20 years into the past. A time when Pac Man, Galaga and Donkey Kong were all the rage. A time when you actually used quarters or tokens to play arcade games. And they only cost 25 cents!

You will never find so many classic arcade games, in one place, in such good condition, anywhere else!

Take one step into the Vintage Vault. You may never go back to your Xbox 360 again!
