Always nice seeing my friend Pat. He stopped in today, we had some lunch and he had these cool Nintendo things to add to the Star Worlds Arcade collection. He won them all at another arcade lol. Thank Pat, your the best!! Pac-man-Pat #starworldsarcade #dekalbarcade #Nintendo #Mariobrothers #Pacmanpat ... See moreSee less
Several people have asked why we don't do free play days on our video games. Um, the local arcades that offer you free play on the video games are just trying to get you in the door to get you roped into their ticket games. We don't need to play bait and switch games to get customers through our doors. Giving your product away is a sign of desperation. Our games have to make money so we can maintain them and buy new machines as well. Pac-man-Pat ... See moreSee less
Paul SpriggsArcade club is all Free play but it costs 10 bucks to get in. Totally different business model to yours. If your model was crap Patrick you'd have gone bust by now. You know what you are doing. Apart from not liking defender but I'll forgive you just this once 😀😀😀😀😀
Eric Turesonpeople its nice to think or wish arcades could be free.
but the reality is they have electric, maintenance (on games and building) , taxes, salaries , ect to pay.
they have to strike a balance of enough coming in to make a profit but not so high to loose customers...
all that together isn't easy to do and stay around a long time
look at it this way...
think how much it would cost you to own all those games, maintain them, and have space for vs the amount you pay to play and have them do it
a bargain anyway you look at it
